Doctor visits

So far this year the Lee kids have been to the doctor too many times. Rebecca had oral surgery to have an extra tooth removed in January. Then the very next day Ben slipped on a snowy walkway and split his chin open. We were at the doctor's office for over 2 hours and Ben ended up with 6 stitches. Katelyn ended up with a cast on her left arm for a week in February. She was playing with Ben and Rebecca one evening before dinner and hit it so hard on the bottom of the couch that she did not want to use it. The next day she got an x-ray and it looked like she could have a possible fracture on her elbow. Katelyn is left-handed and was so happy to have her cast off so she could do all her arts and crafts again.

We hope the rest of the year is a little more calm and we don't have so many injuries.

Katelyn took a dancing princess ballet class for 4 weeks. She dressed up as Ariel the first week, then Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel again. Katleyn loves dress up and dancing so this was perfect for her.

Merry Christmas

Just a few days before Christmas we got a good storm. So the day before Christmas we spent the afternoon sledding and playing in the snow. The kids had a great time!

Just before Thanksgiving the 1st graders had a special Grandparents Day performance. Then they did a special craft with their Grandparents. Mom got to go help Rebecca with her craft.

DISNEYLAND

This was Katelyn and Ben's first time to Disneyland. We got to California Wednesday afternoon and headed over to Disneyland for Mickey's Halloween Party. The kids had a great time in their costumes trick or treating and going on rides. We ended the night with the firework show. On Thursday and Friday we went to Disneyland and California Adventure. It was fun that the Sorensens were there too so the kids got to see their cousins. We also celebrated Nate's birthday at Disneyland this year. This was during Rebecca's Fall break from school and we thought it would be a great time to go. It was busier than we had hoped and we are glad we went to the Halloween party since that is when we got on the most rides. We all had a great time and are looking forward to our next trip.

On our last day we took the kids to the beach. They had a great time playing in the sand and getting their feet wet.
