Beautiful Colorado

I thoughts these pics I got on our walk today were fun. On one side of the street you can see the daffodils popping up and just across the street there's a snowman. I pointed it out to Becca and we talked about how one side is like Winter and the other is Spring. I'm so happy the seasons are changing and we are getting warmer weather now. We'll see if we get a suprise BIG snow strom in April this year.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Here's some pictures of our St, Patty's Day breakfast. Nate made the green eggs and I made the pancakes. The kids thought it was great. The color of the day is "green" and I'm pointing out everything to Katelyn and Ben that's green and they still can't tell me what the color is when I ask. They each know one color right now, Kateyln loves pink and can pick it out all the time and Ben knows red. I guess I need to make it the color of the week and then they'll get it!
Anyway, back to the day, I made the kids Shamrock sandwhichs for lunch. We also had a suprise mess from a leprachaun while we were at the park this morning and Becca thought that was great. It's so fun to make the holidays exciting for the kids, they love it.

Daddy Daughter Date

Nathan took the girls to the Daddy Daughter Hoedown at church last Saturday. They had so much fun dressing up and "trying" to line dance with Dad. I love this picture that they took there. While they were gone Ben and I had our own little date. He chose Chick-Fil-A for dinner and then we went to the mall for a cookie and to throw pennies in the fountain. I also got him a tie to wear to church the next day. He LOVES ties and says "I'm a handsome boy" everytime I put one on him. It's always fun to have one-on-one time with the kids. They are all growing up so fast!

Saturday Outing

We took a trip to the Art Museum this last weekend. Nate had to go to a scout training all morning so I got the kids out of the house. He calls me crazy when I go by myself with the three of them but it's fun to take them new places. They had a great time playing in all the kids friendly areas. Katelyn especially liked the dress-ups, Ben was having a great time using markers, climbing & jumping off the walls onto pillows and bean bags and Rebecca loved it all and as always was a great helper.
