Build-A-Bear and more excitement for Rebecca
Yesterday we took Becca to Build-A-Bear Workshop and she had a great time. She got a gift card for graduation. She had fun picking out her bunny that she named Clara along with all her clothes and accessories.
So Nate and I went out last night to dinner and to see Pirates. While we were waiting in the theater for the movie to start Grandpa called to say Becca's tooth fell out during dinner. I can't believe we missed the first tooth! Rebecca was so excited about her tooth and had her letter and picture for the tooth fairy all ready to put under her pillow (she had it a picture and letter sitting on her dresser for over 2 weeks - she is always prepared).

Benjamin J
I had to take these pictures of Ben because he never dresses up. Rebecca likes to dress up still but it is rare if a day goes by and Katelyn doesn't. Our kids play very well together and sometimes if the girls are dressing up and role playing Ben likes to get in on it too! This first picture is funny because he is wearing some sleeves that are supposed to go on his arms and he has them on his legs but I think the best part is the ballet slippers :-)
These two pictures Becca and Ben were playing wedding and getting married. I thought the leotard was hilarious (one day Ben is going to kill me for posting these)!
And here is my boy climbing to the top of this play structure (you can see Katelyn at the bottom wearing a green shirt). The sticker on the equipment says for 5 to 12 year olds but there is my 3 1/2 year old Ben who just loves to climb! As we were leaving the park he said, "Mom I was crazy at the park today"!
When he saw the tall cart return bars in the Target parking lot the other day he told me , "Mom I could climb that...watch me". Of course I stopped him.

Happy Mother's Day!
I love Mother's Day! I'm always reminded what a wonderful Mother I have. She has always supported me and loved me no matter what. I feel so blessed to have such a loving Mother and Grandmothers. I have been thinking a lot lately about my Grandmothers who have passed away. They were such great examples to me of love and service. I miss them dearly and wish they were here to meet and spend time with my children. My Grandmother Hilda Kendrick died 7 years ago and my Grandma Ruby Waldron almost 6 years ago. I was there when my Grandma Hilda passed and I will never forget the sweet spirit that we all felt there. Grandma Ruby passed just a few weeks after my oldest Rebecca was born so I wasn't able to make the trip to the funeral. They were both amazing women. I'm grateful that they had long happy lives and are now reunited with their spouses.
